Terms of Service
1. Ownership of the Piece• All art commissioned may not be used for commercial purposes unless previously discussed with and exempt by the artist. This will generally result in an additional fee, along with some restrictions.
• Under no circumstances may the commissioner have commissioned art used as or turned into an NFT.
• Under no circumstances may the commissioned art be used to generate AI images, including for machine learning.
• By default, the artist can use the art as examples of their work. If the commissioner is uncomfortable with this, they must let the artist know upon ordering.2. Payment• The artist can only take payments using PayPal.
• The artist’s currency is GBP (Great British Pounds), and all prices are listed as such. Conversions fees between currencies are usually calculated by the payment methods.
• Payment must be made within 24 hours after the artist has sent the finished piece and the commissioner has deemed it satisfactory.
• The commissioner may choose to send payment at any time between the artist’s confirmation of the order and the order’s completion.
• The artist does not do payment plans.3. Refunds• The commissioner must allow up to 2 months for the order’s completion. After this period, the commissioner is free to cancel their order, though the artist will only send a full refund of payments made if the piece has not yet reached the lineart stage.
• The artist reserves the right to cancel any order if necessary. In this scenario, the commissioner will receive a full refund of all payments already made.4. Work In Progress• The artist will send a WIP of the order once the sketching and inking stages have been completed. Further WIPs will only be sent upon the commissioner’s request.
• If, for whatever reason, the artist will not be online for a period of time, they will alert the commissioner prior to this period and request permission to work without providing WIPs.5. Revisions• It is vital for the commissioner to provide all relevant detail in their order.
• The artist will not make significant changes once the commission has reached the coloring stage.
• Whole revisions to the order (e.g. exchanging the character drawn, switching commission types) will be counted as cancelling the order and making a new one unless the artist has not started any stage.
• The commissioner may not employ a third party to make edits to a finished piece under any circumstances. It is not the artist’s responsibility to “fix” the art if the commissioner is discontent with any edits made in this scenario. However, if they wish to do so the commissioner may make edits to the finished piece themself.6. Post-Completion• The artist will not be making any edits after the commissioner expresses that the art is satisfactory.
• If the commissioner loses the art, the artist can provide it 1 month after its completion. After that period of time, the artist is not accountable for its loss and does not owe the commissioner a refund.8. Other• The artist reserves the right to deny any other order without stating a reason. The artist will deny any orders involving all subject matter listed in the “Won’t Draw” section.
• The commissioner must not claim credit for the art’s creation. When publicly displaying the art (such as using the art as a profile picture), the artist’s username (@ineffablelunatic) must be mentioned in a visible area.

Added Notes:- Backgrounds will usually be either relatively simple patterns, wallpapers or photographs. Specific images can be used as backgrounds as requested. More detailed backgrounds (for example, placing the character in an illustrated scene) are available as requested for an additional fee.- Mobility aids include characters in wheelchairs, with crutches or prosthetic limbs. Hearing aids, canes and other forms of assistance are not included in the additional fee.- Characters with ‘fantasy elements’ are those with significant non-human body parts, such as additional arms or legs. This also includes centaur and fawn characters and aquatic fantasy characters (such as mermaids and sirens). Characters with horns, antlers or tails are not included under this additional fee.- Quotes can be provided as requested if a commissioner wants something more specific which does not appear as a commission option here.- The artist is willing to draw suggestive art as long as it is not actively NSFW. Please bear in mind that the artist is a minor.
